This tour offers you some highlights of Jordan and Syria within six days. Based in Amman you visit the tranquil Dead Sea, the astonishing rock city Petra, and the Roman town of Jerash. Then move on to Syria, to explore the black basalt town of Bosra, the bustling city Damascus, the rock village Maaloula and the impressing Crusader castle Krak des Chevaliers.

Ahlan to Jordan! After immigration procedures, collecting your luggage and passing through customs. Meet your driver with a signage at the arrival area of Amman airport.

From Amman airport, transfer to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea. Free time at the beach and experience to float on the salty waters.

Petra Visit – Amman

Petra Visit

Early morning, we drive to via desert highway for 3 hours to visit the highlight of Jordan, the red rose city Petra! Petra is Jordan’s top attraction and was founded around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabatean Arabs. Initially a nomadic tribe, they developed agriculture techniques and became successful as traders. Prepare yourself for walking over uneven terrain. With your guide pass the narrow canyon, the so-called Siq, with its colourful sandstone. At the end you will be rewarded with a view of the most beautiful monument, the Treasury. Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. You will have free time on your own afterwards.

Day 3
Jerash – Syria Border – Bosra – Damascus

Morning time we drive then to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. The well-preserved ruins had been hidden for centuries in sand before the excavations started in 1925. Wander along the spectacular Forum, paved and colonnaded streets, the Nymphaeum, theatres, and the Temple of Artemis.

Drive further north to the Syrian border to cross to Syria. Say farewell to Jordan, Ma’a Salamah!

Start your morning in Damascus by embarking on a city tour. Visit the Azem Palace, which houses the Museum of Arts & Popular Traditions, providing a glimpse into Syrian heritage and culture. Continue to the Chapel of St. Hananias, a significant Christian site, followed by a stroll along the historic Via Recta (Straight Street), mentioned in the Bible. Next, explore the Umayyad Mosque, an architectural marvel from the 8th century, known for its stunning mosaics and grandeur. • Syrian visa: The passport must be valid at least 6 months and held no Israeli stamp; in this case the entry will be refused.
• Check-in time at hotels is 14:00, check-out time at hotels is 12:00 noon.

- After booking the tour with us online, one of our consultants will get in touch within 24 hours. You need to pay then a 25% deposit by credit card or by bank transfer. The full payment is due latest 14 days before tour start.
- Cancellations or changes need to be sent in written form. Charges are as follows:
• 25 USD of the total price of the trip for cancellations from the date of booking until 31 days before departure.
• 25% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 30 to 08 days before departure.
• 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 07 to 01 days before departure or no show.
