Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque - The Royal Opera House - Mutrah Souq - Al Alam Palace
08:00 AM, Today after breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby and proceed for a half-day tour of Muscat city. First stop will be the SULTAN QABOOS GRAND MOSQUE, the largest mosque of Oman. Visit the mosque from inside. Later drive and visit THE ROYAL OPERA HOUSE MUSCAT, an architectural wonder. An artful blend of marble and wood complemented by subtle colors throughout the building, it is designed to honor Oman’s heritage while reflecting contemporary architecture. Visit MUTRAH SOUQ, One of the most traditional souqs in the Middle East. Photo stop at AL ALAM PALACE, the official palace of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq and MIRANI AND JALALI, the 16th century Portuguese forts.

After breakfast, drive to Nizwa, the cultural capital of Oman. Our first stop will be NIZWA SOUQ, The traditional Omani souq known for Dates, Omani Silver, Spices, Omani pottery and Souvenirs. Walk to NIZWA FORT, The 17th century beautiful architectural round tower fort showcasing Omani defense tricks, Omani dance and Music. Drive to JABAL AKHDAR, known for its Mediterranean climate. Temperatures drop during winter nights to below zero Celsius and rise in
summer to 22 degrees Celsius. Due to its location and unique weather, the Green Mountain produces a variety of fruits, such as apricots, plums, figs, grapes, apples and pears, as well as almonds, walnuts and saffron. In Jebel Akhdar there is a spectacular walk / hike opportunity through the three mountain villages of Al Aqr, Al Ayn and Ash Shirayjah.

Today after breakfast, drive to the Sharqiyah Sands popularly known as Wahiba Sands. Our first stop is WADI BANI KHALID, a beautiful oasis in the middle of dry mountains. One of the most beautiful wadis in Oman with its clear deep blue water pools, where you have an opportunity to take a refreshing dip. You can even try walking/Hiking through the wadi all the way to Muqal cave. After visiting the Wadi, Drive to WAHIBA SANDS, in the heart of eastern Oman, the Wahiba Sands is an ocean of regular dunes that seem to stretch out endlessly. Pale gold at noon, the towering piles of sand shift between rich yellow and coppery orange when the sun is at lower angles. The guests can book Camel ride, Quad Bikes and Sand Board from the camp on direct payment. Sunset from nearby dunes.

Check-out from the desert camp and drive to Sur, Our first stop will be the SUR DHOW FACTORY. The city of Sur on the Gulf of Oman is one of the most historic boat-building centers in Arabia and the artisans still hand-craft dhows of all sizes at the factory in Sur, using centuries-old techniques. Drive and visit WADI TIWI, unique in its own way with numerous farms and plantations giving it a different feel than many other Wadis. There are some extremely picturesque spots all along the wadi and quite a few places to pull over and admire the view. Stop near BIMMAH SINKHOLE, while exploring the North-East coast of Oman, don’t miss the Bimmah Sinkhole, a sinkhole formed about a third of a mile from the sea, resulting in a turquoise mix of fresh and salt water. Its depths, colors and surrounding create a unique experience. People go to admire its beauty, to swim or dip their feet in the vividly blue-green water for a fish-administered pedicure of sorts. Ain Razat - Taqah - Wadi Darbat
Start the day to East of Dhofar, AIN RAZAT is a collection of natural springs some of which are perennial while others are by seasonal and exhibit during Khareef (monsoon season). This location is also popular to visit all year around and also it is one of the main sources of water in Salalah. Next we will visit TAQAH one of the coastal town in Dhofar Governorate. Taqah is an old town and a fishing village with an interesting castle. The castle is surrounded by watchtowers and stone houses. The room inside the castle is filled with ancient jewelries, weapons, furniture, paintings, everyday items making the castle inhabit. After we stop by Taqah, drive to the most unexpected site in Dhofar, WADI DARBAT. It is secreted in the mountains overlooking the site of Khawr Rori, just after coast of Taqah. The Wadi is a natural park with majestic view of waterfalls, a lot of camels, lakes, mountain, caves and lush green vegetation. During the Khareef season (monsoon) the water from the mountains replenished the Wadi made a wonderful waterfalls gushing from 30 meters (100 ft.) and cave chambers. They also have a spacious picnic area for visitors. Continue to KHOR RORI creek, the site of the ruined city Sumhuram, and capital of ancient Arabia frankincense trade. Sumhuram Archaeological Park one of the components of the Land of Frankincense considered by the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is located in the ancient city of Khor Rori, where the frankincense and copper trade flourished. After the tour, drive back to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Ain Garziz - Nabi Ayub - Al Mughsail Beach
First to visit is the AIN GARZIZ which was one of the springs you can find in the region of Dhofar. Next, drive to the mountains to visit NABI AYUB (Prophet Jobs Tomb) that can be seen up high in the Jebel (mountain). This location is also one of the most visited places in Salalah as it is important site due to its historical significance. He is mentioned both in Quran as Nabi Ayoub and in Bible as Prophet Job. Also we will go for a photo stop in the viewpoint near Nabi Ayoub location where they can see beautiful landscape and mountains. After visiting the historical site, we will proceed to AL MUGHSAIL BEACH where blowholes can be found. Al Mughsail is one of the must see beaches in Dhofar Region. Through an underground channel, sea water rushes with high pressure and shoots out in a geyser like on the cliff. The spout can rise several meters high corresponds with the forces of the waves.

- Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque Dress code: Visitors are required to dress modestly, covering arms and legs and avoiding
transparent clothing. Women and girls must cover their hair. An Abaya (full-length dress) and scarf
can be hired from the mosque Cafe and Gift shop.

- After booking the tour with us online, one of our consultants will get in touch within 24 hours. You need to pay then a 25% deposit by credit card or by bank transfer. The full payment is due latest 14 days before tour start.
- Cancellations or changes need to be sent in written form. Charges are as follows:
• 25 $USD of the total price of the trip for cancellations from the date of booking until 31 days before departure.
• 25% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 30 to 08 days before departure.
• 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 07 to 01 days before departure or no show.
- For refunds we do not cover transaction fees charged by credit card companies and banks.
