Upon arrival at Amman Airport our representative welcomes you with a signage after you passed through the customs. Transfer about 50 minutes to your hotel in Amman for overnight.

Amman - Mt Nebo - Wadi Mujib Siq Trail – Dead Sea

Mt Nebo

Morning time we drive to Mt Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses is believed to be buried. You are viewing the monastery with old music and overlook the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land.

Wadi Al Mujib

Drive to Wadi Mujib, where you walk along the Siq Trail following a water stream deeper inside the cool canyon. Depending on your fitness level you can scramble along small waterfalls, the farther you get the higher the water. Have some shoes and trousers ready for change after the visit, and a waterproof bag for the camera.

Wadi Ben Hammad

After breakfast, check out. We continue to another popular Wadi: Ben Hammad. The hike takes around 4 hours time, you follow a water stream, see hanging gardens and small waterfalls.

Then we take the opportunity to visit the Crusader castle from the 12th century with imposing underground halls and corridors.

Petra visit – Wadi Rum

Start to visit the rock city Petra, Jordan's most famous attraction and one of the New Seven Wonders. A local guide will give you a short introduction of this unique place and walks with you via the Siq, a narrow gorge, to the most beautiful monument, the Treasury, to the Street of Facades and the Royal Tombs. You have time on your own and climb for example the more than 800 stairs to the Monastery El Deir with amazing views to Wadi Araba.

Practical Info

• Official check in time at hotels 15:00 – check out time at hotels 12:00.
• Breakfast at hotels is served in the main restaurant.
• The driver/tour guide escorts you according to the booked itinerary, he is not 24/7 at your disposal.
• The spot guides in Petra are licensed by the Ministry of Tourism in Jordan and are not part of our team.
• In case of rain the government may decide to close Petra for safety and security reasons.
• The Petra ticket includes a 700 meters horse ride from the main gate to the beginning of the Siq. The ride is not mandatory; the horse handler expects a tip of 5 JOD per horse.
• 4x4s in Wadi Rum are old vehicles without A/C and seat belt. They belong to the local Bedouin association.
• Wear comfortable walking shoes and depending on season pack sun protection.
• For the Dead Sea beach don’t forget swimwear, flip flops and water sandals.
• To respect the local culture please cover shoulders and knees.
• It is not permitted to bring telescopes or drones without permission to Jordan.
• For camping we recommend to bring the following: sleeping bag, backpack, towel, flashlight, comfortable clothes and shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, headgear / scarf as protection against sun and wind, hygiene products, toilet paper, first aid kit (for headaches, cold, etc.).
• Best travel time: March till beginning of June, September till December.
• For the hiking parts a normal fitness level is sufficient.
• For hiking, bring hiking shoes, backpack to carry your lunch box and water during the hike, camera etc., Don’t forget you walk through water, so second pair of shoes, a small towel are needed.

- Cancellations or changes need to be sent in written form. Charges are as follows:
• 25 $USD of the total price of the trip for cancellations from the date of booking until 31 days before departure.
• 25% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 30 to 08 days before departure.
• 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 07 to 01 days before departure or no show.
