Wadi Bani Awf - Bilad Sait - Snake Canyon
Breakfast at Hotel. The route down Wadi Bani Awf is one of the Arabia’s greatest 4WD adventures and includes a visit to the village of Bilad Sait, a remote fortress village. Wadi Bani Awf also spelled Wadi Bani Awuf, is a large wadi in wilayat Al Rustaq in the South Batinah Governorate of Oman. The wadi covers a large area with several villages and lots of cool attractions worth visiting, including the famous Snake Canyon! The route through Wadi Bani Awuf goes through beautiful scenery and connects all the way to Balad Sayat in Al Dakhiliya region by crossing the Hajar Mountains and offers some of the best off-road driving experience you can find in Oman. Later Drive to Jabal Shams and Jabel Shams is the highest peak in the Gulf region. Enjoy breath taking view of the deep canyon.

Misfah – Al Hamra – Wadi Tanuf – Nizwa

Misfah - Al Hamra - Wadi Tanuf
0900 Hrs Breakfast at hotel and drive to Jabreen. We first visit Misfah, a pretty village with stone houses, precariously clinging to the side of a huge mountain cliff. The village is laden with date, lemon and banana groves. We visit the village of Al Hamra, famous for their old multi- storied mud houses surrounded by a vast expanse of lush green date plantations.
Furher drive to Wadi Tanuf. Wadi Tanuf is a pretty good offroad adventure which can become really thrilling. Tanuf
has some historical ruins of its ancient lost city, that was abandoned during the famous wars of Jabal Al Akhdar in 1950. A walk through Tanuf is a unique walk between history, architectural beauty and nature.

Nizwa – Barkat Ul Mouz – Jabal Akhdar – Nizwa

Barkat ul Mauz - Jebel Akhdar - Saiq - Al Ain
Breakfast at Hotel. We then drive to visit the village of Barkat ul Mauz. Enjoy a walk through the lush green date plantations.We continue our drive through Wadi Al Madeen. From here a 36 km stretch of winding road takes one to Jebel Akhdar (2000 mts above sea level) the green jewel of the Al Hajjar mountain ranges, a truly unique spot in the Arabian Peninsula. Enjoy the cool climate up in the mountains. Al Jebel Al Akhdar is famed for its fruit orchards typically laid out terrace style along the slopes of mountains, which are endowed with natural springs and aflaj. The villages of Saiq, Wadi Bani Habib (the village of the old houses) & Al Ain dot the landscape. The villages overlook a spectacular landscape of dramatic peaks, gorges and wadis. The roses of Jabal Al Akhdar fill the air with fragrance when in full bloom (March / April). Rose water is distilled in the homes of the villagers. After the tour drive back to Nizwa.

Nizwa – Wadi Bani Khalid – Wahiba Sands

Wadi Bani Khalid - Desert Safai
08.30 Check out and drive to Wahiba Sands. We will visit Wadi Bani Khalid, this is considered one of the most beautiful wadi’s in Oman. The drive to Wadi Bani Khalid is through the Eastern Hajar Mountains, which offers a panoramic view of landscape below. We pass many pretty villages embedded in the mountains. Here the road winds down to the wadi along side a large, shallow pool fringed with vegetation and ends at a village. We park our vehicles at this point and continue on a short trek to the deep blue pools of the wadi. Enjoy a swim in this glorious grace of nature. Desert Safai over golden sand dunes and visit of a Badouin family. Anybody who chooses to live in the environment of Wahiba Sands must be hardy and resilient to tolerate its potentially harsh climate – and bedu are just that. There are over 3000 Bedu of varying tribal origins who live here amongst the woodland on the fringes of the sands. Sunsent on nearby sand dunes.

Breakfast at camp, we board the vehicle and start our desert crossing journey to the other side of the desert, Al Ashkhara. Upon reaching Al Ashkara, check in at the hotel and leisure for rest of the day.

Ashkara – Wadi Shab – Sinkhole – Muscat

Bibi Miriam's Tomb - Wadi Shab - Bimah Sinkhole
First we make a stop at the ruins of Bibi Miriam's Tomb which can be seen at the village of Qalhat on coastal road to
Muscat. Our next stop is Wadi Shab. Inside you will have to walk along palm groves, on rugged rocky cliffs and swim
through some pools to get to the main attraction, which the submerged cave with waterfalls. It will take you about 30-
45 minutes’ walk to get to the cave and to enter it you have to swim through a hole between the mountains.
Later visit Bimah Sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue green water at the bottom. On clear sunny days
while driving along the coast one might chance to see sharks in the deep blue water or fleet footed Gazelle sprint across
the landscape. Later drive to Muscat via Mazar and Wadi Mayh.

- After booking the tour with us online, one of our consultants will get in touch within 24 hours. You need to pay then a 25% deposit by credit card or by bank transfer. The full payment is due latest 14 days before tour start.
- Cancellations or changes need to be sent in written form. Charges are as follows:
• 25 $USD of the total price of the trip for cancellations from the date of booking until 31 days before departure.
• 25% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 30 to 08 days before departure.
• 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 07 to 01 days before departure or no show.
- For refunds we do not cover transaction fees charged by credit card companies and banks.
